I won't be talking like the majority of Christians—I hope you can live with it.
I am sixty-eight and have been a Christian for over 30 years. I am busting at the seems (yes "seems") to tell the world what I understand—what things seem to be. It seems to me that all the world, every nation, every man woman and child should know what I understand and that's why I have chosen to create this forum. Up front: I love Jesus.
I have, in my ministry, dealt with many facets of humanity. I have had dealings with drug addicts, those on death row, child molesters, the poor, the rich, the smart, the not so smart, theologians and those not so theologically inclined, scientists and those who think they know science, those from many different national backgrounds, myself—the most depraved, the tall and the short, the skinny and the fat, and I have learned something that to me is super neat—every person has life in him or her (you can say "duh"). Moreover, the life in every person, whether they believe it or not, is from God or whatever we prefer to call that which created us. I prefer to call my creator God. It seems to me that the life in me and those I know is from God. That life, when we are reborn, is the light of men and manifest in our mortal flesh. When we hook into it, we can see (yes I mean literally "see") a light that is above the brightness of the noonday sun—no really!
Now that life, before we are born again is ruled by our flesh—our bodies of flesh. For example, "I am hungry" or "I want a drink of water" or "I want to have sex" or "I want to destroy that which is against what I want", or fleshly attitudes, such as, "boy is she pretty" or "look at his body". Things like I mention are what rule us until we can see and believe in the plan for all of humankind. You see, we are our own gods until we see the plan that is for all of humanity. When we see the plan and the logic and simplicity of it, we recognize that there is one God and we ask him to redeem us from our selfish desires and he is faithful to do so. We are then born again into a life that is forever and forever. We Christians call it "eternal life." Eternal life will happen on this earth when all believe. When everyone on earth believes and eternal life happens there will be no death. I want that to happen before I die, so here I am in the process of creating the Christsweb forum. In the forum, I will give you the long and the short of it, but not I, it was Jesus who told me.
Again, I am an old man so I am in a hurry—I want this to happen before I die. We have all the stuff to do it. smarts, computers, networks, internet and belief that creates the need for others to get saved. Our doing the job that has to be done is called faith. That faith, and our acts or works of faith that it can be done, is the mechanism that will save the world. We are saved by faith and that by the grace of God.
I want you to help me, right here on this forum, to save the world—we can do it—I know how. Jesus told me. Jesus showed me the way.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
